Who We Are

Since 2003, Rendezvous Pub 49 has been a cornerstone of Edmonton’s live music scene. Originally operating as a regular pub, Rendezvous Pub 49 was transformed when the former owner of the legendary Fox & Hounds brought a commitment and passion for live music that established Rendezvous as one of the city's most iconic music venues.

While our roots are in metal, punk, and rock, we have evolved into a diverse, inclusive hub. Today, we host everything from hip-hop, indie, and acoustic sets to arts and culture showcases like SickFest (hosted by local band The Fashionably Sick.) We are also the local go-to for trivia, karaoke, pub sports leagues, as well as featured events such as burlesque shows, and sports watch parties. We also have 6 fully featured VLT machines.

Community & Values

We are proudly LGBTQ+ friendly and deeply community focused. We believe in using our platform to give back, highlighted by events like T-Fest, which raised a record $6,690 in 2025 for the Canadian Mental Health Association and Wellspring Cancer Support Alberta.
